So I want to dye my hair...
 

I'm a brunette, quite a dark one, but I have quite fair skin. I'm bored of my hair colour and fancy a change...Any suggestions?
I'm open to pretty much anything! Except for green maybe :p that's not really me!
So any suggestions would be appreciated :) I'm starting Uni in a couple of weeks, so I'd kinda like to do it before then!

How about a dark purple? I'm blonde with quite fair skin, and I put a streak of dark purple in mine and loved it. It's subtle but different :)

Hard to maintain that colour unless you can find a good permenant one of it! Easiest to maintain is the basic colours - hardest to maintain would be blueee (mine needed doing every two weeks when it was blue - and my hand were always blue) What were you thinking? Crazy colour or normal? You can get some nice permenant purples these days

I have the XXL Live Colour in Cyber Purple. There's a whole load of nice purples, I think that'd look good (:

Try out the schwarzkopf XXL range or the live luminance range (which also has a pre-lightener for brighter colour). I always use it and get great results! I tend to go for purples.

It's bright to start with but fades into a really nice shade.

Agreed about schwarzkopf XXL live colours, I went platinum blonde with them a while back and it came out really well. (Then I got tired of that and went black again). Their reds are looovely. (Slightly obsessed with red hair atm :o)

Hehee multi-coloured could be interesting! One of my friends had orange, green, blue, yellow and pink highlights in her hair over the summer! Was interesting! Hee.

Red is definitely the way to go! Hopefully going to dye it next week! :)

Zomg! Let us know how it went, I've allllllways loved red hair but it seriously wouldn't suit me at all haha. Might get a chunk of hair coloured in that colour just to soothe the red hair envy :-p
