Hi just thought id make a thread on the twilight saga books which wont die :P

just talking and the books and films really,

Im currently on the third book (eclise) and after reading that
I was like aaaa i just have to talk about this with other fans!

(sad and obsessed i know)

if you dont like the films/books and want to express your hatred please go elsewhere :)

the movie was okay...

the books were okay...but then i got woren out with all them Psycho I LOVE AND WANNA BE WITH EDWARD CULLEN freaks...

but its just another vision of vampires.....nothing special about it...

just a different twist on vampires...

I thought the fourth book was the best ,has the most action.Im sick of all the Twilight crap though.I mean the hype is nearly over b4 the second film is out.I enjoyed the film though,just sick of defending that fact.Thought there were better films and stuff but still enjoyed it

the books are okay...in genrel..but other wise...it tends to get annoying with all the little twilight obessed brats...who cant stop talking bout the series..

with that said...before there is a debat bout Twilight and how great and how sucky it has became cause of the obessed fans..I would suggest this thread get locked

Breaking Dawn was my favourite.
New Moon was my least favourite.

I love the Twilight Saga though.

I've seen the several preview clips of New Moon online, aswell as the trailer, and It looks pretty good!

It was okay.
I can't really remember much because I haven't read it in 7 months.

But I enjoyed all 4 books really, except New Moon - although I'd still re-read it.

Hey I think you misunderstand me ..Im pro Twilight .When I said crap ,I meant all the ppl who are against it and constantly on about it .I said I enjoyed the fourth book best.Im sorry if you got me wrong ,I apologise ,I liked the series .

Surely people who like Twilight should have a place to talk about it? Whatever thread is posted about a subject, there is always going to be atleast one person who disagree's or is a 'Hater' of the subject, and you don't see every two threads getting locked? So why should this be any different? Just because people don't like Twilight, that shouldn't mean that a thread should be locked just because of a clash between people's views.

I can't wait to see Jacob in New Moon. Although, I'm annoyed they've altered the storyline a bit.



It does annoy me when they alter things or change things, for example the storyline etc. But I understand why they do it and stuff. Ohwell. It should be good anyway!



Apprently the 'Wolf Pack' (Jacob, Seth, Quil etc) went on a Wolf Camp together so they could get closer and stuff. Haha. (:

And as an added comment - predominantly to the post up there somewhere ^^ - everyone is going to have different comments but not every post needs to turn into a debate. This thread is supposed to be for people who actually like Twilight - and if you don't what's the point in posting y'know?

I hope this thread can continue without a debate purely because it's not necessary.

I think it was an intelligently written book with some very in depth characters and a refreshing take on vampires.

I personally love the Twilight saga! OK, yeah it's not the best book in the world, but it was a gripping story. I feel the need to go and re-read them all now. Serious love for Carlisle and Alice <3

I wasnt surprised that Jake was into Bella ,I think their closeness is very much obvious from the start ,and in the first book Billy says hes only coming back to visit Charlie because Jacob wanted to see Bella again ,and then Jacob blushes.Its like a crush he has from the start ,but more an amiable one then Edwards kind of obsessive passion.
I saw the trailer tonight in the cinema and I cant wait to see it ,Jacob looks hot in it ,even though I preferred Edward b4 I think I have changed my mind.

yeh i new he was into her but he basically pounced onto her the way it was described sounded very agressive,

I like the books. Admittedly, I've only read the first two books lol. I'm reading the first one again and hopefully will finish the series :P But yesh.. I like them :D Looking forward to the next movie :D

Exactly the same. Though as like all books that are made into films, i don't think the film lived up to the book.
But then again i think thats just cos it's kind of hard to cram every little detail into films.
My favourite book was Breaking Dawn or Eclipse (i change my mind every time i read them all).
I didn't like new moon the first time i read it, but now after reading it 4 times i must admit i actually really like it.

However obsessed i am with reading the books though, i don't know how people can go screaming after the actors as at the end of the day they are "actors" not the characters.
But yes. Twilight=Immense.

My fave charaters in the movies are Alice and Emmett! I wasn't a huuuuge fan of Edwards. But he is pretty cool!

Yeah I am! Which isn't always a good thing cause I go though books fast! but i only buy books i'll read more than once... I've read the Twilight books dozens of times lol!

:D I love the Twilight books and film! I'm looking forward to seeing the second film when it is out here, though I look at the films as extras to the books, rather than a film version of the books, because the films are never how I imagine the books! Yes I'm pretty sad :P

The first and fourth books are my favourites, though that doesn't mean I didn't like the second and third books, by any stretch of the imagination!! :D

24 hours! And i thought reading all 4 in a month was fast on my part lol!
But yes i've read them all alot too, so it's well worth a buy.

My favourite character in the films was Alice too. I thought Emmett was played well as was Jasper and Carlisle.
I was/am dissapointed with the choice of Rob Pattinson. Not that i think he's not good looking. Just as an actor he wouldn't have been my first choice.
I'm still undecided on Kristen Stewart playing Bella too. (But i think thats more because when you read the books you imagine yourself as Bella). If that makes sense?

And yes, i'm going with all 4 of my housemates to the new film =)

I think [and bear with me] that because Meyer isnt the best writer in the world, none of her characters had any... er... Character... So when you read it, its easy to project yourself onto them. They are empty templates, if you will.

I understand what you mean. And maybe even where your coming from. But in my own opinion i think that is probably why i liked the books so much. Because i could use my own imagination for the characters and it helped me to feel more involved in the storyline. Like i was experiencing it through Bella's/my own eyes.
I don't know though. Each to their own and all that.
