This is a place to talk about old times, to look back at your time on RYL and the friends you have had who have moved on from here. We have a lot of members who leave the site each year as they reach the point they don’t need RYL anymore. Use this room to talk about them and this is somewhere for those who come back to RYL to also drop in and let people know how they are.

The site has been around for ten years and many of us have known people in common but we may not know it. If you are wondering how some of your old friends are doing just ask away and you may find someone who still talks to them.

Ah, too many, sometimes it's weird when I go on my old msn account and there are people on there who I haven't talked to in years. It's also weird when they return with a new nickname (being v3) it doesn't feel the same :(

Man... there are so many of the old Vets crew that moved on that I miss! To many to name!

So many of the people on here have made me smile and laugh. Too many to thank!!!!

I miss troll bashing, at least they use to have an imagination back in the day now they just seem stupid. And we can't beat them with sticks anymore :(

I was going to go on about something this morning then i feel asleep and forgot >< dam my brain

I was looking through my msn the other day and i was quite surprised that most people on there were from ruin who never made the move over to recover or they may have come over at a later date and i never knew, but most the people i spoke to on ruin never switched over to this site and i miss them.

I was talking to Fran the other day which was nice to catch up as it was ages since we talked.

*bump*

Luke most the ones on my msn are ruiners who i haven't spoken to in ages it's sad but then i hope they have all moved on.

I spoke to one on friday and she had no idea who i was anymore and from what i got she had put RYL that far behind her she has started to blank it out and forget it.

How is Fran anyway? Is she gone from RYL completely?

Fran is doing well she is now making jewelry and has a small shop in London. Yeah she left RYYL some years ago i don't think she comes back here at all.

Fran "Me"? I always seem to catch Fran on MSN in the wee hours (more wee for her than me). Funny sense of humor. She hasn't been here in a long time.

Now my memory decides to go blank I can't remember what her ruin name was if it was "Me" but i am sure she just had Fran on here, she was also one of the first chat mods on recover.

most of the people i originally talked to a few years ago have all left, makes me feel abit sad everyones moved on while i havent.

Fran's username was "me." I have lost track of people so I thought there was a possibility that she had changed it and I just didn't know it was her anymore. I was gone for a long time as well, and haven't kept up with people's comings and goings very well I guess. It's good to hear she is doing well.

How could i forget that was her old username. My brain is just dead to the world these days. I've hung around here for a long time and still lost track of people.

I often think about Crazy Rabbit Lady who was around about a year ago when I started here. I know she left but... I don't know how she is. She was very cool.

Ah Trace she was a good friend at a difficult time i must see if i still have her email

I miss Nat[Ikle Me] and Trace [Crazy Rabbit Lady] - both absolute legends! I miss Belle, though I've kept in touch with her. Hmm, Oh what was his name? Guy who's screen name was based on a song, erm, had black shoulderlength hair, erm, erm, erm, name? Wasn't the other Matt though, who went out with Nat, it was someone else, argh, this is going to be really annoying. Think it began with a T.

And Tamz [Delephynite] and it's been good to see Rosie[Nil.] around again. Anyone know how Slyvia is? I think she's still around ocassionally under another name.

One thing I really regret, 2005, RYLV2 someone - I think it might have been Trace or Tannocio but I'm not sure, talked me through some stuff after I'd taken my first major od and was **** scared, and I don't remember their name, I have really bizarre memories of that night, but I wish I did know who it was so I could thank them.

oh she was amazinggg. i remember she would post the most detailed replies in serious for everyone.

Who was that guy who had pandas in his signature? I keep asking this. He was nice.

The post she made I remember the most had a porn pic of a guy with an erection (and in a F&D thread).

I know she was from Maine but I don't know what happened to her. I think she was one of the people that went away after they got a boyfriend.

Lol -I recall he used to post these wounded, forlorn, poetic lamentations and Vrinda would go nuts - "ohhhhhh Craiiiiigeeeeey - I loooove YOU!!

Tyler/AlcoholicNovelist is still pretty much the same, but with a bit less alcoholism, for anyone who wanted an update there. Someone mentioned Sylvia - she's doing awesomely and I don't see her coming back here.

Omg Linda. Also, I totally saw Zach/Zack/girlonleft at CATs (Linda knows what I'm on about.. maybe) last year at Reading fest, she was volunteering too! F*cking weird day that was.

she is the one person in the pic who i didn't know the name of. i don't think i would recognise her if i saw her in the street. did she come to many meets? i don't remember her at all apart from on that day.

I knew her basically because I went to Reading in '06 to meet up with Sarah and she was in the lost ticket queue, gave me cider and took me to Sarah's tent. So I kinda owed her for that.

Anybody still speak to/heard from Nat (Paperdreams.) and Kaya? They were pretty much the first people I spoke to back when I joined. I know I'm not an oldie but it feels like it was a lot longer ago than it actually is...

Kaya is doing well, i have her on lj & Tamz keeps adding me to lj & then disappearing again, i miss Tamz, she was so lovely to me.

I still speak to Kaya, she's doing pretty well I think.

I was thinking about all the old folk on old RYL the other day, Then I realised that I being nostalgic about a website in RL and managed to snap myself out of it, ha.
RYL used to be better but I have a feeling it's because we were younger and got more out of it? I dunno.

Don't know how Natty Natters is doing but one day last June I saw Paperdreams under Who's Online. She was checking a PM perhaps.

nat's on my facebook. from what i can see, she's doing really great.

I remember, and often wonder, what happened to Jason
(TheGreatLonelyPretender). He wrote some awesome songs.

And Lolitadukken. We used to talk alot.....

I need to see if i can catch up with Sam when she gets onto msn i think she went by Slip or Slipstream on ruin then by Fudge i think on here but im not 100% about that.
