Hi,
I feel really naughty for posting in this section, I dunno why, just feel like I shouldn't be here. I tend to stay mainly in the ED board, but have never posted here before - so, hello. :hugehug:

I have a question (and beens as the older people's are here, you might know more.) :-) I have also posted this in General Support and Advice.

-*-

Hey,

I'm looking into doing a DipHE in Children's nursing, but would like to find out more about it.
I was just wondering whether anyone had done this course - OR - has anyone done a DipHE in Nursing at all?

xxxx

-*-

If anyone can help me, I would be mega grateful. xxxx

Thanks effervescence.

Kim, apparently not. I rung and spoke to the Uni and everything....?
They have updated it though.

Yeah my uni does both the diploma and degree, both on the same course but the degree is marked at a higher level (degree obviously) and your have to do an extra module. But they encourage the degree pathway.

As for occ health, i never told them about my history of SI but it was a couple of years before i started my course and i never had any problems during.

Now i'm qualified occ health have been great and very supportive.
Everywhere seems to have their own policies on acceptance.

Good luck x
