Hello Everyone!

We would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the First Aid Team. Animad (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum/member.php?find=lastposter&t=42414) (KimA). She has joined the team as a First Aid Advisor, and is available to answer any of your questions. Everyone please welcome her to the team, she will be a very valuable asset to RYL First Aid.

We would also like to refresh everyones memories on the rest of the team

bitter_angel (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum/member.php?u=21) (KimB) - First Aid Advisor and First Aid Moderator
Keys. (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum/member.php?u=56) (Amy) - Wound Care Advisor

The Wound Care Advisor role is a new one to the First Aid Team. The wound care advisor can be contacted to deal with any issues involving wounds. This includes information about dressing wounds, bleeding, infection and stitches.

However the wound care advisor can not answer questions about overdoses of general medical advice, those questions can only be answered by the 3 First Aid Advisors.

We would also like everyone to take a minute and review the rules (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19425)of the First Aid Forum. The First Aid Forum has rules in addition to the RYL rules because of the nature of the forum. If anyone has any questions about the rules, or how the First Aid Forum is moderated, please direct them to Aidey or Bitter Angel, as they are the two designated First Aid Moderators. Please note, Aidey and bitter angel are NOT Forum mods, and should not be contacted with non first aid matters.

Please also take the time to review this post (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum/showthread.php?t=828) which gives tips for getting the best advice to your first aid questions.

Everyone take care and be safe!
The First Aid Team

as i have said in general chat, this thread ought to be stickied for a time period (one month, or until an ezine article) so that people are aware

further to this i would like to add the comment:

that especially the principles regarding the subject matter (ie wounds advisor compared to other first aiders)

just my 2 cents

anyway i negleted to say welcome, in all honesty i hope i never have to speak to you in this format, but im glad you are there just in case
