We've just spent two days at my parents' place and two days at my grandparents' place. It was great, but I've been so homesick lately it's really hard to come back to Stoke and be so cut off from family and friends (and my little godson).

I'm trying to be positive, we're going to apply for housing association houses, so hopefully we'll have our own place by the time the baby's born, but I've had enough of living here.

It's nice of Rusty's dad to let us live here (although tbh I think he needs the help) and we'll have to stay nearby to help him out as he's not very independent any more. It's just that I feel like I'm stuck in a room all day, I have no money and nowhere to go if I did.

Excuse the self-pitying rant, it's just that Rusty's feeling about the same and I dont want to drop it on him.

Ta.

hey victoria
try and keep in mind that this is just a temporary transition
you are a little further from your family, but that doesnt mean you have to be out of touch
there is always email and call them whenever you want
i think that you should think about opening up to rusty about it though
you need to not keep these things inside or they eat you up even more
take care and be safe hun

I spoke to Rusty. Hopefully in a few years we'd be able to move south. At the moment we're stuck.

Feel like ****. So easy to cut it all away but I haven't cut since I found out I was pregnant last month.

oh wow way to go staying SI free for so long!
that is a fabulous new beginning for you and the little one
i hope you are proud of yourself and realise how strong you are to have been able to pull that off
and way to go talking to Rusty too, that was a good move
keep talking to him honey, it helps
and it is good for your relationship to be open
do you have a doc or a psych or something? that's also what they are there for
take care
