Chat - [null]

It says you've entered the room null. You can'ty see the room lists but you can see what's being typed on the screen. You can't even see yourself in the room lists. It's pretty odd.

A few people are in there the now, well.. allegedly. And we're all experiencig the same thing.

This bug is amusing.

I have the same problem.

It allows me to send a message but it doesnt show me what I typed, but the other members can see it, and I cant see anything they said. The room list showed me in the wrong room, and the list was doubled up.

Some people said its fine though, so maybe its temporary?

Chat is malfunctioning! Ha.. I've had similar experience with all the strange invisibility etc but looks like everyone is having problems... Keep refreshing is all I can suggest... it seems to work for me but only for a short amount of time. How odd!

hmm a single person refresh i doubt would work because it seems to be the system whats off, not just one person. so a server/chat restart may fix it. that or if everyone in chat refreshed at the same time

Okay guys,

Sorry that I myself have not updated this thread - I have been very busy.

Very busy setting up....NEW CHAT!


I am in the process of writing usage guides and finalising the intergration - but essentially, thanks to one VERY generous member (you will find out more later!) RYL now has a chat that we could have previously only dreamed of. We have my ideal dream choice for chat, it's in, it works brilliantly and it's ours!


And so thanks to Ann (the member), James for doing the server stuff, and the chat mods for working on text and testing - we will have our new spanky chat...


Tonight, Friday the 1st - 9:30PM GMT


Look forward to it, because it's awesome!

Oh and if you see the chat stats etc breaking over the course of the rest of the day, it is because I am replacing the code for the old chat and replacing it with the new.
