Stupid question?

I have a moving avatar, a GIF image that I've always used here but now it's frozen, it doesn't move. I've changed it to five different avatars and neither one moves yet I see other people's avatars moving. What is wrong? Maybe I can't see it moving but it actually is...but they all just stay frozen. I know, this is a stupid question but I'd like to have my avatar moving again...if that is possible, can someone help?

where are you taking the image from? or is it soemthing you created yourslef?

No, I have it on my computer. I used it here before and it worked fine...it's not the one I have now though...I changed it since it wasn't working.

it might be good to try and find the image online again and see if it works, sometimes the comps can be gay and it wont move anymore, so you have to take it off a website and put it into the sig without saving it to comp

it may be worth, as others have said, putting it on a site [or taking it off one] and uploading it from the URL. Also, does it mvoe when you right click preview on it in "My documents" ?

A couple of things to do or check...

1. Make sure your avatar comes within the rules of using an avatar here at RYL, which are: 100 by 100 pixels or 781.3 KB in size

2. Try clearing your cookies and temporary internet files, close all browser windows and re-start your computer.
