Hi

I've been bottling things up for about 2 years now and on Tuesday everything just came out. On Wednesday I told my doctor how I've been feeling so they have put me on citalopram and referred me to a counsellor talking therapy.

I feel like I'll be stuck with mental health for ever.

What is citalopram like. Last time I was on fluoxetine but that caused weight gain. I started it yesterday and have been having headaches and nausea.

Well done for speaking to someone, that isn't easy. It might seem like you're stuck but talking to your doctor is the first step in getting unstuck.

I don't personally remember much of what citalopram was like other than that coming off it wasn't pleasant. Maybe give your GP a call if the headaches and nausea don't go away soon?

Thank you, no it wasn't easy to talk. I just want to get better. My brother is lucky he's never had depression me I've had it twice already.

Will talk to my dr if the side affects still lasts in to next week.
