Started taking Mirtazapine

As you can guess by the tital im taking mitazapine. its been 10 days since i began it, im on 30mg at night mainly for sleep. Its is alongside a slipt dose of venlafaxine (150mg 2 x day). Ive been getting very weird experiences with them. And im certian its the medication. Mostly i have periods of time where i dont feel real. thats the best explanation i can give really... and im wondering if anyone else has ever experienced similar?

Sounds like it might be a type of dissociation/derealisation. It may or may not be a side effect of the medication, as this symptom can be experienced as part of many different mental health conditions also.

Can you go back to the doctor who prescribed the medication and talk to them?

:ermm: no unfortunately not, as it was a psych doc on the ward. I am not seeing the outpatient one for 5 weeks. But can talk to my nurse this week about it. I havent really experienced it today, but ive spent most the day sitting and writing as essay and i dont think that is much to go on. I should take it tonight as skipping it would not be wise, however that experience has happened most days since i began the medication and i dont really want to risk it agian tomorrow.:ermm:
