hi
so without going into too much detail ...
husband and parents had a fall out which was never rectified through talking. husband had belongings including a car at his parents which he now feels ready to fight to get back (legally). it has been near three years since last contact so it is taking a lot for either of us to try and fight this as we know it should have been done sooner and it is going to possible cause problems that in all honesty we could do without.
I know that I need to write a letter to see if we can come to an agreement before applying to the small court and as there is no communications and no desire for communication between either party this is the best route for us. I am hoping one of you can maybe help to be pointed towards a template to be used as I am useless with legal jargon and google is of no help on this one.

please do feel free to let me know adult life isn't always so complicated and full of problems :ermm:

Write a letter which states exactly what your terms are.
Give them a reasonable amout of time for them to come to an arrangement

Dear.......

I am writing to you as you have... (be specific)
I would like these back on such a Date

If this cannot be met there will be no alternative to apply ro the small claims court

Yours

.......

One thing though I think small claims court in Northern Ireland is only up to the value of I think £3,000 anything other than that needs to be high Court.
