Zurg - please just a hug or some love needed

I'm not a fan of making threads for others but I'll make an exception.

Zurg has been a member of this site since forever and has helped so many people over the years.

She's the least needy, pain in the ass person i know but she thinks she is. She won't make a post because she thinks she'll come across as needy.


Kat has been so good to me over the years since I left RYL and we've kept in touch. She's sobrave and has gone through so much **** it's untrue. She never complains and apologises when writing to me to say she's struggling.

Wel she's just has some major trauma and I'm worried about her.

She's just a lovely lovely caring girl who I think needs a little love or just a hug.

I'll get killed for making this thread.

But please, if you know Zurg/Kat and you don't post anymore then just a hug would mean a lot.


Kat you're awesome. You're a great friend. You're so brave. You don't bother or annoy anyone.

Hi Kat, I know you don't know me but I am so sorry to hear you're in so much pain. It sounds like you have had a terribly traumatic experience - you do not deserve suffering. I so hope you can allow yourself to be held by the people around you. You're not needy or a pain at all and deserve kindness and warmth. My thoughts are with you.

Kat I don't think we have ever spoken on a personal level but I have seen you around the boards and you are always there ready to lend a listening ear to someone. Let us now be here for you. I won't lie, i nearly cried when i read this.....

Thank you Matthew. I did make a thread and i got lots of hugs. It really means the world to me to feel that i am not alone right now, so thank you all for your words and for your hugs. It makes a huge difference to me because i find it hard to reach out. I am trying to get better at asking for help but it takes time to change 33 years worth of thinking patterns and behaviours.

I will get through this. It is hard but i don't need it to be easy i just need it to be possible. But your words and hugs really mean a lot to me and makes me feel like i still have a 'home' on the internet.

So thank you again. You're awesome people!! xxx
