Hi,

Life has been quite difficult lately. My therapist went on maternity leave early December and I've yet to make it to an appointment with my inter therapist. Mood is quite low and I'm having trouble withdrawing from the Sertraline; the Psychiatrist didn't tell me the withdrawal would be this difficult; I can't walk across the room without feeling like I'm going to faint and generally don't feel like myself but I'm hoping it will pass. I started on Amitripytline although ran out of medication so I haven't taken any for a week or so although have a GP appointment on Tuesday as she rang me last week as was concerned she hasn't seen me for a while.

I've been under the drug service for a few months now due to a diagnosed opiate addiction. Ive build up a rapport with my key worker and they want me to see their doctor to start on a replacement drug to help me come off the codeine and help the withdrawal. I'm really anxious and scared but I know it's something I have to do.

My GP initially referred me to the CMHT for medication management as they felt they needed a little guidance on my medication. However, the Psychiatrist seems to want to see me every few months and keeps doing CPA's. On the last report, she wrote under impressions: "BPD" and it was quite a shock to see as the Psychiatrist has only seen me twice! I just don't feel she knows me and I find it quite hard to talk to her as she's quite abrupt.

I feel really alone with my head.
