I'm genuinely fine at the moment.
Apart from a few intrusive thoughts which I'm managing fine I have no mental illness symptoms.
My cc still wants to see me every week but I litteraly have nothing to say.

I know she is keeping close contact because I'm about to start a new job and she is worried I will get over stressed but the meds are doing their job and im fine.

After she says "how are you?" And i say "very well thank you" im not sure what to say.

It's 2 buses to get to my appointments and it just seems a bit pointless.
If i cancel the appointments will it seem like I'm dis engaging with services?

Anyone else felt like this?

I feel like this sometimes. Thankfully I am able to reduce appointments to once a month when things are going well.

Would it be possible to have phone appointments with her just to check in?

We tend to talk about why I think that things are going well. About stresses that could have caused issues and how I handled them so they didn't. We look back at times when I was unwell and discussed what I thought helped/didn't help.

this is probably a good idea. Also about all the positive things in your life and what you're doing which will show as examples of how you're well at the moment

I feel 100% the same way. I have literally nothing much to talk to my team about but I still have regular appointments. At a stretch I can talk about whats been happening in my week on a more general level but that's about it and it only takes up a certain length of time. In therapy I might start talking about past issues because everything present day is ok.

Could you ask to reduce your appointments down, like maybe fortnightly or monthly? that way you won't be seen as disengaging.

I had an appointment yesterday with my cpn and we talked about music, specifically The X Factor and Northern Soul. That's what we spent most of the appointment talking about!

I still see my cpn every week for some reason but we just end up talking about random crap!!! Usually about the state of mental health services tbh :tongue2:
and work and just anything really!

I would tell her/him the difficulty you have getting to the appointment and you feel well and see what they suggest xx

Thanks guys.

Having phone appointments or fornightly might. E something my cc would do.

I may want to increase them again when I start work just for the support but I do think it is a good time to start reducing.

Seeing her once a month would be my goal for the new year as I only have a little time left with their service and although I will be referred to cmht I think I need to get use to less support. Especially since I don't need it and it's just talking up time that Unwell people could use.

Thanks again guys x
