*Sigh* I've miss interpretted my repeat perscription , I'm going to run out of Olanzapine before my repeat is ready and I don't sleep without it. My GP surgery don't allow appointments for repeats and cancelled the phoning up for them service so I've ordered online but that takes about a week :( I'm so stupid , I could have sworn I had an extra box but I looked and the extra box is of Lithium. Not sure how I'll cope after tommorow night.

Hey,
I've done this a number of times, don't be so hard on yourself, it happens.
Could you not ask for an emergency appointment without mentioning it being for repeats and just ask the doctor for one when you get in there? Or does your surgery have telephone consultations because you could ask for one of those and ask the doctor to do the prescription and leave it at the desk?

I might be wrong but the pharmacist use to be able to prescribe emergency prescriptions for a few days if you miss picking it up at your GP's.
It's worth asking the pharmacist if this service is still avaliable.
I have done it in the past with psych meds but it was years ago. But worth asking never the less.

The alternative is an urgent care centre. Or a GP-led walk in centre.

talk to the pharmacy and they may be able to give you a few days worth to help get you through. thinking of you

I would recommend trying to get hold of some more medication rather than take something that expired so long ago.
There are expiration dates on medication for a reason, there is no way of knowing how much of the active ingredient remains, what it has decomposed into and whether that is harmful to you or not.
