Was currently on 20mg daily Abilify tablets, am in hospital at the moment and they have changed it to the new injection form of 400mg, 20 times 30 is 600, so the new one is 7% a day less then what I;m taking now if you get what I mean? Do you think I'm going to become unwell on this injection with it being less medicaion, don't have the chance to see the doctor until next wekk and ask her?

Depot injections are often formed that way, it doesn't mean you'll get unwell and doesn't mean you'll be on less medication. In fact you may find your condition becomes more stable as the medication will be at a steady constant in your system (it's released slowly and constantly, rather than peaking and troughing like tablets sometimes do). I hope it works out well for you.

I agree with the above poster. I was on a very low dose of antipsychotics and remained very well, and although I am on a higher dose, I am on a very low dose of antipsychotics. I am on a depot and it may mean that you can cope very well. I am extremely well, so much so that I feel that I dont need my cpn any more (sadly because I am on a depot I have to see her).
