olanzapine and sex drive

I'm on olanzapine and since starting on a higher dose I have completely lost my sex drive. I have also not had a period since being on the higher dose.

Has this happened to you before?
How did you cope with it ( i can't change my meds)?

Hi,

I was only on 2.5mg Olanzipine for approximately 7 months. I can't say if it affected my sex drive as I don't particularly have one due to various factors. However, I know it's not uncommon for this side effect to happen on many anti-psychotics. I'm not too sure whether it can affect your period; can you speak to your Psychiatrist about it? They may give you something to help regulate your period as lack of periods, over a long time, increases your risk of osteoporosis.

I'm on 15mg at the moment.
I text my cc about my symptoms and she thinks it might be my Prolactin levels are too high so I'm getting a blood test next week. I hope everything is fine with the blood tests because I don't wanna change meds again. I've had so many changes in the last year.
