Diagnosed and ready to move forward

I recently attempted suicide for the second time this month landing me in the hospital for one night and a mental hospital for 7 days. While hospitalized I was given plenty time to reflect on my decisions and I have now realized I am completely ready to beat this depression. I was diagnosed with severe depressive disorder. I have been put on anti depressants and anti anxiety medication. I'm starting to feel a bit better and am home now and will be working very hard to overcome my problems.

I hope that you find the medication helpful. Have you been offered any therapy to go alongside it?

They gave me a higher dose of the medication today because I hadn't been feeling any different. And yes I was already seeing a counselor but now I have another psychiatrist to talk to as well to try to get me better.
