I'm feeling depressed right now and I just wondered does anyone have any advice on how to manage it so that I stay as well as possible and dont deteriorate future?

I just feel so exhausted all the time and I have loads of negative thoughts.

Thanks in advance x

Here are some things my GP suggested when I get depressed:

- Get out of the house for at least 10 minutes every day, even if it's just a short walk down the road.
- Set alarms to remind yourself to eat regularly (don't know about you, but I tend to forget to eat/not get hungry when I'm low)
- Set small goals during the day, like having a shower or doing a bit of washing up, making a drink etc.

Do you know why you're feeling so low?

Thanks these are really good ideas. I'll try them. I really don't want this to end up in a hospital admission.

I think im depressed because I've had a change in meds again and there is a chance I will be thrown out of uni in the next few months. It all just getting on top of me.

Do you have someone to talk to about uni? The student support service at my uni are a good sounding board when I'm having troubles with uni.
