Sertraline side effects

I've been on Sertraline just over 3 weeks and have found that the main side effect I am having is lack of appetite, I just don't feel like eating and when I do its not much which is very unlike me. I have lost enough weight over the last 3 weeks and like today I haven't eaten yet and don't feel hungry don't have any pains of rumbling belly =p just worried I am starting to see food as bad and if anyone else has had this

I have been keeping my fluids up and drinking a bit more than normal too

Hi,
I had similar side effects on sertraline, and I ended up setting alarms on my phone to remind me to eat. It might be worth talking to your doctor though, since you've lost so much weight as they may be able to change the dose or put you on a different med. Since you've only been on it a while, the side effects might get easier.

^^ As said if you've lost a lot of weight it's worth going back to the GP. If the amount lost isn't too serious you could leave it for another couple of weeks to see if it's one of those early side effects that wears off. (I had it for the first week of my current anti-depressant.)

Maybe try eating 3 small meals a day, and if that's not manageable you probably should see a doctor.
