It's been really windy recently and whenever it blows in my face and I find it hard to breath. It makes me really panic. I found the technique of putting my scarf over my mouth so I can regulate my breathing. I am just finding it really difficult to stay calm after it happens.

Hey lovely.
I get this to.
When the wind blows really strongly in my face, I get really short of breath, and feel like I cant breathe properly. Its a really odd and frightening sensation.
I havent figured out a way to combat it, apart from I generally stop what Im doing and turn my back against the wind and try and take control of my breathing by reassuring myself that its just the wind causing me to not breathe properly. Maybe give that a go?

I think it is important to take a moment, acknowledge your anxiety and give yourself the time to take some deep breathes before moving on.
Is there anything that usually helps you feel calmer/staying distracted? Like making an A to Z of anything you like to, counting from 100 backwards [especially in a foreign language as it requires a lot of focus] ... you name it.
