Friend's account hijacked

A friend on here has had their account hijacked by their abuser, who is sending me messages. I only know this person online, so cannot alert any nearby authorities. I've not been on in a few weeks due to work commitments, so have only just received the messages. I have responded to my friend's abuser. Is there anything I, or anyone, can do to help my friend? I'm sorry if this is not the appropriate place for this, but I am a bit frantic.

Report it to the mods, they could ban that account and your friend can make a new one if they want to.

Or do you mean more in terms of what can you do for your friend to make their situation with the abuser better? I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

I'm sorry, it was probably a bit obscure. I was, and am, fairly panicked.

My friend, who has been abused by several persons who have almost total psychological control over my friend, has been "banned" from this site by one of their abusers, and the abuser has PM'd me to inform me of the decision. I was wondering if there was anything I, or anyone, could do. I know it's unlikely, but I'm kind of panicking, sorry, didn't really know what else to do.

That sounds difficult. As she hasn't been banned by RYL there isn't much the mods can do.
