How does deleting threads or posts affect Total Post Count? I'm curious.

I am fairly sure deleting threads doesn't affect your post count. I shall do experimental research and get back to you about deleted posts. :P

ETA:
Yep, a deleted post will vanish from your post count as well.
I think I already knew that as I once deleted a really high number of posts from a thread and I suddenly had like around 1,000 fewer posts, but I wasn't sure anymore and just tried it out.
