I have a thread on the "Creative Corner" Forum. Is a compilation of writings but I'm starting to wonder if it should be somewhere else, like maybe Ranting/Venting? I'm starting to write in it pretty regularly and I don't want to clobber the creative forum with too many entries.

Should I move it? Can you move an entire thread to a new forum?

Thank you!

It is possible to move a thread to a different forum. If you decide that is what you want to do with it just report your thread and write a short note in the box that appears to explain that you want it moved. Then the mods will take care of it.

I don't think you need to move your thread though. If you do move it some people who like to read creative writing might not see it and miss out on it. Also, if you stick to one thread for posting your writing it will not really push anyone off the board. It would be the same amount of boards, and I don't think it is an issue if you're on top a lot because you update frequently.
Do you also want people to be able to respond to your writing, share their thoughts on it etc? Then definitively leave it in Creative Corner as nobody can reply to RV threads.

This was really helpful, thank you!

I'd like to leave it I think, I was just afraid that the constant postings may have been too much for that forum. But if that isn't the case, then I would leave it. I'm glad I know how to move one though in case I need it.

Thanks for your reply!

Glad I could help :)

And no worries about posting your writing, that is exactly what that board is for and I am sure that you'll find people to be more than happy to read more of your writings whenever you post some of it. :)

I can't see any reason for you to have to move it, unless you decide at some point you want to so don't worry :) x

I have another question. I think I need to add a trigger warning to the title of my thread. I've been adding it to each post, but maybe it would be better to do it to the whole thread? If I do that, do I still need to label each triggering post ?

Also, I can't figure out how to edit the title of my thread. Is there a way?

Thank you!!

You can edit your thread title by clicking right next to it, I'm not sure you can add a label that way thought. Otherwise, click on Edit on your first post and then select Advanced Options. That way you can add the label.
And if you label the entire thread you don't need to label the single posts anymore as people are already aware of what to expect.

Ok great, thank you very much!

Sorry for another question, but I see that most people can put their warnings in bold. When I try, every time I hit the bold button it automatically takes me to the thread so I cannot bold anything in the title? I'm sorry I am not computer savvy lol

Did you type the warning manually or choose it from the drop down menu?
