Who thinks drinking alcohol every day is alcoholism ? Who thinks drinking half a drink or taking a few sips every day is alcoholism or not?

I think it depends more on your reasons and your control over it that matters rather than the amount. It's a problem if you feel you have to do it. It's a problem if you can't say no to it when you otherwise want/need to. It's a problem if it's your main means of coping. There are people that drink once a week yet have an alcohol problem, and other people that have a small amount every day with a meal and are fine. I would focus on how it affects your life rather than the amount. Are you worried about yourself or someone else?

Just a little bit. Have been drinking every day lately. Like big 5 sips or something not the whole bottle. Its making my face look ugly and tired and depressed which I do not like at all. im having a hard time sleeping.

Lauri, having read some if your other threads I would say you are developing a problem with alcohol, you seem to be using it as a coping mechanism.

I was able to get back to sleep. yes maybe so. Ill try not to take anything tonight. After I heard from him I have a big weight lifted off my chest.

So you got answers as to why he hasn't been in touch with you?

Yes he told me why but that doesn't take the hurt away totally its still there it still happened so I cant just jump right back to seeing him I have to give it some time.

I got a puppy 7 months {: He absolutely adores me and is so clingy to me and follows me every where which I love. He's so calm and laid back. I never had a dog follow me every where and adore me like this. Its just awesome knowing I'm loved by some one. Hes soo cute the moment I saw him I knew he was mine. I have a older dog too that is so sweet but since she got older she doesn't like other dogs so we cant do all the fun dog events any more so that was my main reason to get another dog that likes other animals so I can do all the cool dog events. A little stressed have a lot of animals to take care of now have little animals too. Dad yelling at me and need to budget my money a little better. but other than that the puppy I s my life saver my reason to keep going and because of him have not drank in 3 days.
