Hay everyone, i have been a part of this site for about 4 weeks now and up until now the live chat has worked perfectly. now all of a sudden it just wont load, it loads up until the whole screen is sky blue then just stops. i read up a few other posts and they said there was a problem with avast but i dont run any antivirus at the moment because im running a mac.(yes i know macs can get viruses) could this be a problem with safari or?

It could be, and it's worth trying another browser (Firefox, chrome) or another computer and seeing what happens.

hey Sophia, umm yeah i tried firefox and it did the same but i will try chrome too

Hmm. that's really odd. All I can think of is something weird with cookies or something. Have you tried on another computer?

no but i think it might be something to do with using my friends phone as a personal hotspot for the internet maybe it only works with like cable internet or a wireless broadband or something

I have a Mac (and there are so few viruses for Macs that the chances of you getting one are sooo slim that you probably don't need to worry about an anti-virus). Anyhow, at my public library RYL chat does the same thing, I think it just has to do with the hotspot. It's unfortunate though.

did you try logging in and out of the website and rebootng your computer

As i said in my pm to you chat wont load on Ipads there is an app you can download but im not sure what it is

Hello im new to this site and unable to enter the chatroom at all. Im using a general laptop. I use chrome but have tried IE as well.....the same happens nothing.
I press enter chat and the words *Authentication failed*.

Anyone know why it keeps doing this?
