How to change username?

I've been meaning to delete this account for a long time, though I never had the opportunity to use it when I first made it over a year ago when I was in a real rut because of many life circumstances (one of the main ones was I had unreliable internet connection).

I hear that accounts don't get deleted much... so would it be possible to have a username change? I tried to request one, but it seems I don't have enough posts since I never managed to use this account 'till now.

I use this username under several large sites now and don't want people to know of the one or two posts I made when I was anorexic and suicidal, since one of the two shows up in the first page of searching my username.

And would it be possible to delete the threads I had started from over a year ago, including this one?

You can delete your own threads; just go back and click edit,then delete.

Ah, I see, thank you so much! I can't believe I missed that in terms of the 'deleting threads' thing!

Also, with this post I should be able to request a username change, so hopefully that can happen very soon!

Oh, it seems I can't delete th' first posts I made. The option isn't there after clicking edit. I wonder if it's because they were made in 2011? Is there any other way to delete it?
