How to access chat on an iPad/tablet?

I've recently bought an iPad and would like to get onto chat with it (I get lonesome...) does anyone know how to access chat is an iPad or any other tablet?

Safari doesn't seem to work so I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice? Thanks. ^_^

I didn't think you could. Though there is supposed to be that app (tapatalk or something) that you could install, but not sure, it might have just been for phones...

As far as I am aware you can't, because Apple products do not support flash, which is required for chat.

chat only works if you download a browser called Puffin. Its about 69p and is the worst browser in the history of browsers, but... chat works with it.

Although presumably it's only their mobile products that don't support it, since I'm using a MacBook and it's fine.
