I don't know what I want from this post to be honest. Right now I am in so much pain. I don't want to sit here and just complain, but my stomach is killing me even to the touch or to sit/or lay down. I just got over being extremely nauseous. I just changed doctors and he just changed and increased my meds. I stopped the one he increased that made me nauseous. My stomach on the other hand has just gotten worse. I was thinking and hoping it would get better but it hasn't. This is not the first time this has happened and I'm getting so tired of it. I'm to the point where I'm just scared to take anymore meds. I just want to enjoy my life and not feel horrible while taking meds but yet i can't do it without as I have tried in the past. I've tried alternatives and I am also going to talk therapy. I'm heading out of town and would really like to enjoy myself but like this its going to be miserable!!! What do I do??? Any suggestions??? Tomorrow is saturday and I'm going to try to get a doctor on call but I'm not really sure if he/she will be able to change the med. At this point I just really want to curl up in a ball in the corner cover my face and just cry. I'm sorry I rambled on and I don't mean to complain I'm just....so unsure about everything. :crying:

If you find the side effects of your medication intolerable, as yours sound, then seek advice from your GP/Psyc immediately. If you stop suddenly the withdrawal symptoms are normally a lot worse then the side effects. You might end up in more pain then your already in. They won't keep you on something that's causing so much pain. A lot of psych medication effects the GI system, which is why nausea and feeling sick is so common. If you can't see the Doctor, and your still in that much pain, I would suggest going to A&E to be on the safe side. Keep well.

unfortunately I'm in the US and the only thing open on the weekends would be the emergency room or a patient first which both are expensive but the patient first is a cheeper version of the ER. So trying to avoid both if possible. I called and the nurse on call told me to just stop the medicine and treat the symptoms I'm feeling and call my doctor monday. I've only been taking the medicine for a week so I don't think I should really have to many if any withdraw symptoms from stopping it.
I just really want to think you for the hug and the response. It means a lot.

what medication are you on?
i dont know if this will help, but when i first started taking fluoxetine i used to get nauseous a lot, and id get really bad heart burn as well and couldnt face eating.
i stuck to the same medication and after a while the nausea got better, but maybe it would be better to change your medication anyway, because i think youre in a lot more discomfort than i was.

at first I called my doctor not long after starting the geodon and the increase of buspar. He told me to take prilosec otc which I did and it didn't do much, I did it for about a week. I've had this stomach pain in the past and I really thought something was wrong with me and went to some specialist they looked down my throat and my stomach and I was fine! I stopped the med I was on and it went away. I only seem to have this issue with taking medications. Really at this point in my life I just wish I could die, not deal with this. I'm so over everything. If it wasn't for having something to look forward to in about a week I don't think I'd be sitting here. I'm just more than over the side effects of medications and feeling this way.
Thanks for the suggestion boot93...I'm glad for any response. It makes me feel alive, I guess? I dunno anymore. But thanks guys for the support.
