So I don't know what to do when I am faced with being hypomanic. I can't sleep things seem to not move but yet my mind seems to be racing. I could talk forever.

What do you or would you do when this happens?? Its about to drive me crazy as its been going on for a few months now constantly. I tell my doctor the same things every time I go see him and have called him and he does nothing so I feel so alone on this. However I have scheduled to see a new doctor but it will be some time before I get to see him. Any advice?

I struggle when I go into hypomanic moments (or "hyper moments" as my friends call it). Sometimes it helps to find things that can ground you and slow your brain down a bit. I can findthat my brain rushes so fast round things that it doesn't get a chance to rest and I end up panicking because I can't sort things out in my brain. Making sure that you are sensible - try to give credit cards to family members so that you can't go recklessly spending, plan out meals so that you know you are eating properly, try to go to sleep at the same time each night even if you won't sleep (just spend that time in bed reading a book or something), gettiing exercise.

Try to keep everything as normal and balanced as you can, because htis can make hypomania more bearable.
