Might be going residential for 28 days

I don't ask for much here but can I please have some support to get me through until they decide if I'm admitted or not? I'm going to find out in a few days to a week if I'm accepted but the CATT guy said on Thursday that it's highly likely I will be. I have to see the psychiatrist there and he/she will decide if I'm admitted there. It's not a hospital or anything but I have to tell them if I want day leave and have to go back at night. It's a live in thing. There are 10 beds and it offers 24 hour a day supervised care. There are groups like art, yoga and relaxation. I think this will be good for me and just the thing I need right now. It's not a hospital or anything but I have to tell them if I want day leave and have to go back at night. I'm quite nervous about going but I know it will be the best thing for me.

you could say you do want day leave so that its there if you need it. if you dont want to leave then you wouldnt have to leave

Today when CATT came over they told me I'm seeing the psychiatrist at the place on Thursday and will be shown around and then asked if I want to stay or not. So it might be happening on Thursday or Friday.

My appointment with the psychiatrist at PARCs is in 9.5 hours and I'm so nervous that I can't sleep. Could I please have some messages of support I could take with me if I'm admitted into the clinic so I can stick them up on my wall in my room there. It would mean so much to me knowing you all care. I understand why you are so nervous and anxious about it, I would be too, but this sounds like a really positive step and it maybe good for you.

Yeah cos I'm not sleeping all day like I was at home. I'm actually gettting up between 6am and 9am and being told to go to bed at 10.30pm.

Well I was discharged yesterday afternoon after spending 22 days there. It was so helpful and the friends I made there and the workers were so supportive. I'm allowed back on monday to visit people who are still there. Thanks for all the replies from everyone on here, they really meant a lot.
