Its been a while

basically i have no symtoms of mental illness anymore .I went to the doc last night about my sacroidosis and my steriods (i couldnt breathe ) and he was like ,Oh I have never heard of anyone having psychosis without there being an underlying condition.
I have had no other doc comment on anything like this.I have read Im supp to be shziophrenic but the more I think about this the more how crazy I think it is .
Im totally fine.I mean havent felt weird in ages.
I know ppl who are schzio say .,Oh im not a schzio but I swear like I have no symptoms.
I do have terrible dreams though ,in which I am psychotic ,everyone hates me and I want to kill myself.Then I wake up and for a half an hour Im freaked out.But I mean dreams ,in all fairness are not reality.
I havent been to the psych in agggges.I have no need to go .Now that Im on steroids Im supp to be at risk of a breakdown.I have a very stressful job and Im fine.
I mean ,why did I ever listen to any of these doctors.They are pure scaremongers for real.I want to stop taking the meds but know no one will let me.I am very very overweight and need to stop them.
I dont know what the point of this post was ,I just wanted to say stuff

well... i'm sorta confused... if you used to have symptoms, and now you're on meds and they're gone... doesn't that just show that the meds are working? so you would want to keep taking them? though you could still talk to your doctor about how to lose weight while you're on them

I had symptoms four years ago when I was ill but been fine.Yeah it means the meds work but the tiny amount im taking tbh shows to me that I cant be that bad.

People can have just one episode of psychosis, even brought on purely by stress. However, it might be that it is being kept at bay by the meds. If you really want to come off the meds would your doctor be willing to help you come off them gradually and monitor you very carefully for any signs that the psychosis is returning?

I'm meant to have schizophrenia and I have no symptoms either but I just keep taking the meds anyway. I know you want to lose the weight though, could you talk to your doctor about it?
