Rather unfortunately, many people are faced with bullying in their lives. Bullying can be described as when someone goes out of their way to intentionally cause harm to another person, and it can leave emotion (or even physical) scars. Bullying can be direct and overt, such as obvious name calling, or more indirect bullying, such as social isolation. All forms of bullying can be extremely damaging to a person, and might cause a great deal of anxiety in later life. Bullying can occur in all places, but is common amongst school-yards. In any social situation there is a change for bullying, and as such can be found within the workplace, families, and even online with cyber-bullying. It is important that if you are being faced with bullying in any of these aspects you are able to talk to someone and tell someone what is going on.
