You are not responsible for the life of your friends here. You are not responsible for their illnesses.

Your only responsibility is to give those who ask to be heard the chance to be heard and understood. To offer some love or a hug and friendship when you can. To adhere by the rules of the site and to assist in continuing its welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

Understanding is the greatest gift you can give here!!

Please try to remember this.

Please do not put your own fragile state of health in jeopardy trying to save those around you when that is not the reson why you are here.

Please remember that this is a site for people who are mentally ill, have friends or family of those who are ill or have suffered illness. There are some seriously ill people on here. There are people who harm themselves to dangerous extents and those who are suicidal. As a result there is going to be pain and worry every day! There are going to be daily cuttings and overdoses and suicidal ideations.

Please remember that we were not all brought to this site for happy reasons. Almost all of us were probably brought here out of great distress or sadness, desperation or despair.

It IS a dificult place to be. It IS hard to cope with at times. Please remember this!!! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF ILL OVER THIS SITE!

Please do not feel guilty.

Yeah, we can't help other people if we allow ourselves to become set back in our own illnesses! At the end of the day people make choices and have to take some kind of responsibility sometimes!

iT IS NICE WHEN YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE THOUGH!

However I don't think that there is much doubt that this site has SAVED COUNTLESS LIVES OVER THE YEARS! We are very, very lucky to have it and we owe Harley and the Mods a HUGE THANKYOU!
