Triggering (SI) - weird smell

does anyone ever get a weird smell that makes them want to cut? i've talked to several people about it, and few people have even heard about it, including doctors/counselors. it's a really sharp, musty smell that makes me think of fire and blood whenever i get it. it's so weird. anyway, i was just wondering if anyone had ever had anything similar.
