Wound Care Question - Embedded Stitches

My stitches appear to have become embedded and I'm wondering what to expect tomorrow when I go to the Doctors? Does anyone have any idea how they remove these?

No idea if they are completely embedded to the point where they can't even be seen.If they are a little less hidden they will get them out the same way as usual but it will involve more pain, unfortunately because they might have to dig and scrape a little bit, and there's a high possibilty that they've caused an infection :(

Hope it isn't too stressy for you, chick ;)

I hope your appointment goes well. I had some embedded stitches, some were almost at the point of not being seen. But apart from that there were no other problems so the nurse just had to really tug them up so they could be snipped and then taken out. It was more painful than usual but not unbearably so, but I had no other problems with the wound so it wasn't too bad.

Do not worry, they will get them out in just the same way they get the rest out, you may just feel them tugging the embedded stitches a bit more to get a hold of them to take them off.
