After Easter...

How many of you will be heading to supermarkets in a day or two and picking up cheap Easter eggs?

I will be, I've got my eye on those giant luxury eggs that will now be available at less than half price.

I'm hoping for reduced mini eggs!!

Although I wonder if there will be any easter eggs left? Certainly with advent calendars, they had pretty much sold out by the start of december. For some reason I correlate these two events...

according to the legit source of m mam who heard it on the radio there was an easter egg shortage in the uk. though the 3 people they interviewed seemed to say otherwise!

there better be reduced ones- of the lindt or mini egg variety. woe to adulthood and not recieving any

HELL YES. There were large numbers of Easter eggs left in Tesco yesterday, I refuse to believe they managed to sell them all!

Well last year I went to get an Easter egg a couple of days before Easter and they'd pretty much sold out, so it's doubtful they'd have any reduced.

Yep, hotel chocolat defs have some left, and are offering 50% off, as they delighted to inform me in what must be the seventh email I've received from them this month!! (I don't know if I've ever eaten their chocolate, let alone suggested that I would enjoy to receive multiple updated per month...)

As a fun aside, their website just made me giggle- it says "Impossible! Your Shopping Bag is empty, are you feeling okay?" :P

That's really good to hear because I awkwardly forgot it was Easter and didn't buy myself an egg!

Easter Sunday I went trawling a shopping Centre with a friend looking for discounted eggs and only in the fourth store we went to did they some good ones discounted.

Mini Cadbury creme eggs COME AT ME.

This reminded me that they are in my kitchen yummmm

=D I find the chocolate:goo ratio in normal creme eggs a teeny bit unsatisfactory, so mini creme eggs really please me.

Do you find cadburys tastes dead different to all your other chocolate? Andrea (akita) sent me Australian chocolate, and it tasted really different, but then maybe your cadburys is different too.

Yeah Cadbury is vastly superior to any other chocolate here!

And 100% agree about the goo ratio. Thank heavens for the mini ones!

Though saying that Hersheys wasnt that bad, and I havent even ate half of what I have got so I have a load of foreign candy left over (including Lifesavers).

I didn't even remember to go to a shop, but I did find a packet of mini eggs that I'd forgotten about in my cupboard which was EVEN BETTER!
