They put back the date cause they said they got more sales with a summer release for the UK (so it's all UKers fault!). But yeah... I'm soooooo excited!!!!

Lozza if you go to the website, it has one of the previews :)

I really wanna see it but am more excited about New Moon... I've read all the books though so i wanna see how the film compares.

Does anyone else ever feel disappointed after watching a film of a book they loved?

There's nobody here but me and my reflection...
I don't know which I hate more.

for the most part, i think it's unfair and unrealistic to compare it to the book.
the film is an adaptation yeah but mostly it is produced as a piece of entertainment seperate from the book. the book is the foundation and i'm never too disappointed because the film is not supposed to be a direct visual version of that so i don't expect it to be. it's created in it's own right and i think should be appreciated in that context too.

take what you love

What Linda said.

Basically, if you're seeing a movie to compare it to the book, you're almost never going to be happy. Movies simply can't put in the detail that is in books. But if you can enjoy the movie in it's own right... that's just awesome.

I think people have to remember that the books and movies are two different things. You can never put everything from a book into a movie and changes have to be made.
I adore the books, in my opinion yeah they're far better but I really enjoy the movies too. I just look at them in a different way. Of course they aren't better than the books...movies based on books rarely are but I think people need to give them a break. Just stop criticising them and enjoy the magic ;)

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

Got my tickets!

You made up your mind to torture mine!
If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look
red ribbons were weaving
upon the young girls skin.
a trail of red weaved deep,
caused by pain from within
