congrats on the birth :) so happy you have a healthy wee one :)
~Sunshine~ Hyperemesis is what i have been diagnosed with. severe morning sickness that lasts all day and night etc. i have been in hospital for dehydration etc and i really have sympathy for you. its awful. did you get any anti sickness as i have found stemetil really help. x
yer that is it! she did offer me those tablets but im abit worried about taking them because of the flomidamide (sp) thing years ago! i know it would be safe now but i just think im already on tablets for my mental health i just dont want to endanger the baby anymore! but if it gets worse i will consider it thank you for replying its nice to know im not the only one although it must be horrible for you and sorry you had to go into hospital tahts just awful! take care of yourself
Kaitlyn is beautiful well done! and Berni - done!
Sunshine - sorry don't know your name - when i was ill the gp talked at length with me about takings meds whilst pregnant - in general, not just specific to my condition, and he said they always have to weigh it up and ideally you wouldn't take any but if it means you are less stressed and able to cope better with the pregnancy or if it stops something from harming the baby (as it could in your case, dehydration and lack of nutrition) then you have to think it's the less of two evils - tablets or illness.

I AM A PROUD PLUMERIA SISTER
the dehydration and ketones can be worse for the baby that takin the anti sickness meds. i only take them when i am really bad to keep myself happy that im not harming the baby
hiya,
i know im only 16 weeks pregnant but im worrying about going back to work after i have had my maturnity leave.
my fiance will be starting a job in a few weeks which has different and irregular hours each week so if i went back to work i would have noone to look after the baby as my parents are moving away and they work at different times when they are needed aswell so they wouldnt be able to look after the baby either!
i only work 12 hours at the moment at minium wage so dont get alot of money a week anyway but we will need as much money as we can possibly get and i dont think i will be aloud to have benefits if i volentarily give up my job! im just confussed and worried.
i am 15+5 and i can hear the babys heartbeat perfect. i dont really have a bump and havnt gained any weight so i was worrying alot as scans are so far apart now. i have an Angelsounds doppler and it says that it can work from 12weeks... maybe others are different though.
