Random questions about glasses and photos
Hello!
Okay so I recently asked about getting professional photos taken, and I've found a site that says they give you an online password protected album "to view in the privacy of your own home". Do you think it would be possible to print these off from the site? They charge a fortune for prints but surely you could copy and paste them? Or would there be like a lock thing stopping you?
I have to have glasses and got two pairs for the price of one. I found 2 frames, almost identical but different colours, and got one made as sunglasses. But... I'm not happy. If I go the opticians and ask for the lenses of one to be changed, will I have to pay for like a complete new pair? Would they even be able to do it?
Random I know, but PLEASE if anyones got any advice it would really help!

My cousin used to do a photography business and any photos that he put online were of a lower pixel quality than if you got it directly from him. So there was nothing to stop you printing it off at home, but be aware that if you are using it for ID purposes (passport etc) the quality may not be good enough and it may cause your application to be rejected.
Depending on where you got it from, there may be a watermark to stop you which may not be present on the actual images.

You can get new lenses without paying for new frames. It's totally possible.

What Ama said! I do that all the time, as my prescription is forever changing and I like my frames.

Oh thank you. I will definitely go ask my opticians now. I was just worried they'd be cross with me or charge me a fortune.
re photos, they're going to be boudoir shoots for my friends husband - of her not me obviously! - so I guess it wont matter too much if the quality isn't perfect, but yes I hadn't thought about the watermark. That would be disappointing.

I would be very surprised if they weren't watermarked
You may have to pay for the lenses but they should be changeable

They will often be watermarked and locked so you can't copy and save them.
Otherwise photographers wouldn't make any money!!
