I wasn't sure where to post this, so I hope it's okay in GC.
My fiance and I have been invited to a Pagan wedding in May. We're totally stuck on what to wear and what kind of wedding gifts to give D: If everyone has any suggestions or imput, it would be muchly appreciated.
P.S. I decided this thread did not need a poll :P
You can't lose hope when it's hopeless.
You gotta hope more,
then put your fingers in your ears and go,
"Blah blah blah blah!"
No idea, but I just came in to suggest that when you actually have suggestions, you should definitely have a poll.
Will do :P

It's at their house and they haven't specificed any gifts although we have asked. My idea was to get them something baby related as they're also expecting a baby, but I'm not sure :/

From what I know hand-fastings (the name for pagan weddings) are quite relaxed. I'd probably smart casual, and whatever you feel comfortable in.
Something baby related could be good, or maybe a photo frame with a photo of them. If all else fails maybe a nice big bunch of flowers.
Also, as you've been invited I'm presuming you know them well so maybe just ask. Tell them you're not sure what to wear, what do they suggest.
I was thinking some kind of dress but I think my fiance is a bit stuck. I have said perhaps a shirt would be okay with jeans/trousers.
Flowers would be good *nod* and I was thinking maybe some nice candles (I know they want some tea lights to light up the festivities at night so they might come in useful too :P).
It's my fiance's best friend, who I do know well, but we've only met his wife-to-be once D: So that makes it a bit more difficult.
Thanks for the help ^_^

Definately get your fiancee to ask his friend if they want anything in particular.
I personally would go for a non baby related item as it's there wedding but in a way im quite traditional in that sense. Are they going on a honeymoon? If so could you get them something for that?

I've been to a few hand-fastings, smart-casual would probably be the way to go. Though the location is a big thing, I went to one in a forest once and some people were not wearing the most practical of clothings...
gift wise... well that depends on the people more then their religion I think...
