Urgent ish?
For the last few hours I've been feeling really strange.
I had a stomach ache which is gone now but I keep getting periods of my heart racing and dizziness.
I'm. Trying deep breathing but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if these are panic attacks or not. I'm. Not sure what to do.
It goes and then comes back again.
|
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Who else is fine?!?!?

I normally do deep breathing and some mindfulness type stuff.
It wasn't working.
It hasn't happened again yet today luckily.

Could you try 111 especially as your heart is racing.

I think I will if it starts up again.
I was on the verge of calling an ambulance yesterday because I was so worried but didn't want to bother anyone.
It hasn't been as bad so far today. Still there but not as intense.

If it keeps happening I'll try and get an appointment with my gp or nurse.
I need to book a nurse appointment for something else actually so i could always mention it then

If this hasn't gone away now, I'd definitely advise you to try to see someone asap about it.

Thanks Jenna
It is still happening most days. It happened this morning. I have a nurse appointment next week for something different but might mention it to her and see what she thinks.

do you like my potato?

Did you ever get your results back from the ECG you had? Could you chase it up with your GP? If you keep getting dizzy spells where your heart races they need to do more investigations.

Results came back fine. Although the cardiologist acknowledged that my heart rate is high.
I had to go to a&e today because I fell down the stairs due to dizziness. My heart rate was high but they put the dizziness down to the fact I hadn't eaten yet.

If it keep happening I'd still go to your GP just to explain that it keep occurring and they can investigate further.
