Triggering (SI) - confusion, frustration, and just :s

Ok
So a few nights now, i have been having od and scary dreams
they dont make much sense, and i wouldnt say there nightmares
i'd just say they'r 'bad' dreams
i have started full on talking to myself
like full on having a conversation,
my other half has been taking note on what i have been saying
at first it was random things about the dog, which is normal as he is half of my life
but i remember once i had a dream about a bus
and there was lots of people on it and they had cuts all over them, and i was crying >.<
then i looked up and my little sister was on it and one of them
it obviously upset me,
and now i keep having the same dreams or dreams i have had before
but with different bits in it,
im so confused and i wake myself up talking and stuff.

its just getting a little frustrating and im getting more and more tired.
i dont know what to do
or how to understand what these dreams mean..

Hey,
I can understand that these dreams must be difficult for you. I can't imagine how it must make you feel to wake up from one of these, but i can't imagine it woud be very pleasant.

Do you think that your dreams maybe come from the fact that your worried deep down, that your sister will one day start to Self harm, or have you self harmed before?

Is there anyone you can talk to about your dreams? Maybe keeping a record of them, so you know how many of them you are getting a week?

i have had tehm ever day since last monday
my sister has talked about self harming before, well not as such
it was more like
'mum makes me want to hurt myself, i wanted to through myself down the stairs'
so not as much but i guess its still the same,
i dont live with her anymore i moved out,
yeah self harm is a big issue for me, and im really trying to keep t under control,
its a silly dream that one cause it doesnt even make sense
but then again non of them do
so i dotn know,
i have told my partner, she just says she knows, and thats it, i get nothing..

No need to thank me for replying. I'm wondering if the dreams are being caused because of your issues with self harming, & what your sister has said, regardless of however little these thoughts were mentioned.

Have you tried talking to anyone else about your dreams?

it seems that no one really wants to know
which doesnt suprise me,
no one that is around me does care
but hey,
story of my life
i dunno,
Ill just have to deal.
