This is basically 'let the right one in' without subtitles .i prefer the original
It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.
Awful.
I wish America would stop remaking really freakin' good foreign movies.
I heard it was remade from an original movie, but, I wouldn't be able to watch the foriegn version, I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the movie and subtitles, at the same time. I'll have to settle for this, which looks amazing.
I loved the original, but I'm still going to go and see this - it does look like it'll be pretty good. When I went to MovieCon in the summer Chloe Moretz was there to talk about it and it sound like it stays pretty faithful to the sentiment of the original.
But I still don't see why they felt the need to remake a film that was made so recently.
it doesnt look as good as the original.I dont like subtitles much but the original was excellent and well received all round. This remake is pointless in my opinion .It looks like it takes the story pretty much scene for scene .but the young boy and girl in the first one ,I mean there was real snow there ,it was more atmospheric and believable .the mood was also quite dark due to where it was set ,they will not achieve this with this film I dont think

I'm looking forward to it. I've always wanted to watch the original, but I'd have to concentrate on both the movie and the subtitles, which I can't do.
Nothing like the original...I went to see it but it was disappointing.
