A HUGE misunderstanding

A few days ago I gave my friend my number so he could call me at any time he wants. As a joke, I wrote a new number. I put in some random digits and wrote "drug dealer" next to it. His mom just called me so mad. She was asking me if her son was really doing drugs or not and now I dont know what to do. I told her it was a joke and it was not an actual phone number.

I think all you can really do is give it time, let things calm down and hopefully the truth will become clear.

I think if you provide your friend's mom with some evidence to prove that it was a joke then it will make it more believable for the mom to believe you. I also agree that one way or another, the truth will come out if it is factual information and this misunderstanding will become more clear.
