I would challenge that idea.... they can help you IF you choose to allow it.

I expect it is, but from my (not inconsiderable) experience of being sectioned, it's a lot less hellish if you work with the staff and are honest with them. They can see straight through most acting anyway, and it just makes the whole situation stressier and last longer.

At the end of the day, there's always a choice to be made, and THAT is within your control.

I think I'm the one who knows what the staff and this place is like. Sick of people making wrong assumptions and judging me.

well I'm doing neither, I'm sharing my experience, and the choice part is just a fact. We all have choices, always.

My understanding is clear, my experience is valid, as is yours.

Time and again on this thread I see you start to lash out at whoever decides to try and give support that might be more helpful than just plain sympathy. (ie accusing me of judging, making assumptions and having no understanding).

Sympathy is nice, but not always helpful. Sometimes it is necessary to make hard choices and make hard changes.

I don't lash out thank you very much but I don't appreciate unsupportive posts such as yours. I don't need sympathy I need support and there's a difference. If you've got nothing nice to say leave me alone.

Why should I answer to you I've had much kinder and supportive replies that I've been truly grateful for. I don't need to be kicked when I'm already down.

The way I've been treated by staff. Feeling so alone and like I can't talk to anyone or trust anyone. I just want to die.

Sometime having people say poor you actually makes thenproblem feel 10x worse sometimes you need to pull your big girl knickers up and figure out how to get better or at least work with the staff to be able to have a better quality of life as you seem like you want a ‘normal life’

where did i go wrong i lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness and i would of stayed with you all night had i known how to save a life.-the fray, how to save a life.

id rather hurt then not feel anything at all.

I could have held you in my arms forever, and it still wouldn't have been long enough

You 3 are bullies. This is uncalled for. I never said I wanted sympathy just support which you 3 have no idea how to give. Leave me alone.

I’m sorry you feel that way. If you feel we have been mean then you can of course report our posts. I hope you get the support you need during this admission.

I don't think people are trying to upset you, but I know it's easy to feel upset due to the way you might interpret things.

How are you today?

Sorry you're not doing good. Doesn't being in bed dwelling on things make you feel worse though? Have you managed to speak to anyone today?
