Triggering (SI) - Strange Question

The cuts on me had been healing well...they are about three weeks old and they were fairly deep, and about an inch or so long. They've healed over, but they still feel weird, and are raised a bit.
They were pretty pale...but all of a sudden today I looked down and realised that they are a really bright colour now.
Now they are like a redish/purpleish/pinkish colour...it's strange. If you don't look closely it almost looks like they are fresh.

Is this something I should be worried about?

That's how it's supposed to be.. Deep cuts heal over by leaving big fat purplish scars..

I've experienced the same thing. It's quite typical for them to turn that colour when they're healing.
