I've heard positive things about slimming world, and I know that when you join you are asked about whether you have a history of eating disorders. If you do decide to go for it, I would advise being really honest with your consultant so that if you do start to become unhealthy about it, they'll be able to support you in getting back on track.

All the best :)

I did say I would try just eating less in general, but was warned it could become an obsession to the point where the person simply can't bring themself to eat anything.
My idea was to eat when I felt the need to but not for the sake of eating such as because it's a certain time of day when I would normally have something.
