Trapped Beneath the World
when the world comes crashing down
and I'm caught beneath it's weight,
I lose myself inside my pain and
blanket my heart with hate
there's a darkness everywhere I look
and I'm trapped behind its veil,
I find myself immersed in shadows
and withdraw within my jail
-sick from all the judgments
that never left your lips,
tattered from the tragedy
that never crossed my steps-
there's darkness everywhere I turn,
I suffocate behind its veil,
it covers me with shadows and
locks me in my jail
when it all comes crashing down,
everything is blurred,
I lose myself inside the pain,
trapped beneath the world
