United States of Tara - awesome!!

United States of Tara is a new tv show on showtime (but I'm sure you can find it on tvlinks or other places). It's a really good show about a mother who has MPD (multiple personalities disorder). When I saw it, I couldn't wait to share it with you guys.

Warning - it's got some strong language and sexually suggestive themes, but so far nothing too bad.

Anyways, in my opinion it's a pretty good portrayl of MPD and definitely worth checking out.

anyone know where to watch it online from the uk?
i googled it and got a couple of options, but they all say "you cannot watch this from your current location" or some such annoyance.

I liked it, thought it was funny and intriguing. And I like that not everything was revealed in the pilot episode, a lot of shows do that. Like, not every alter was shown.
Buck was definitely interesting.

I know I am bringing this older thread back up but I just wanted to say I LOVE this show! I am hooked for sure! They have a really good cast and the story line is awesome. :) Loving it!

We're DID (the new and correct name for MPD), and we don't know what we think about the series.

We think it exaggerates A LOT. Very few multiples (and certainly none we know) experience switches the way Tara does.
We don't immediately change clothes when we switch for example.
We have lots of questions - What have they said caused her DID? being one...
But we are interested, and we are actually watching an episode on foxtel at the moment.
